The toothpaste will be locked up, the businesses will leave, and politicians focusing on taking Abraham Lincoln’s name off of closed schools. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins has led an insurgency from the commonsense majority since her 2022 election victory, and the cascading impact on policy and politics tells a far different story: a Democratic Party that evolved from tent-shrinking, polarizing, and poor governance into a comeback story.
