ENDING THE SILENCE ON SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT: NEW ERAS OF EDUCATION REFORM PART 2

American public education is in crisis, but K-12 has fallen off the national agenda. The bipartisan, centrist approach that was ascendant at both the federal and state levels during the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations has given way to silence on results and volume on culture wars. Six years after Covid school closures, the national conversation has not reset. Leaders will articulate potential futures for a return to focusing on school improvement, featuring former school leaders, a former mayor, and a US Representative with a background in educational change will break that silence to discuss paths towards constructive progress.
