New Poll: Bobby Pulido Leads Monica De La Cruz in TX-15

A new general election survey in Texas’ 15th Congressional District on behalf of WelcomePAC, finds Democrat Bobby Pulido leading Republican incumbent Monica De La Cruz 48% to 46%. The poll was conducted by Adam Rapfogel, at Applecart, on behalf of WelcomePAC.
Top Findings:
Pulido starts in strong position: In the initial head-to-head, Pulido leads De La Cruz 48%–46%
Lead grows in informed vote: After hearing balanced biographies of both candidates, Pulido leads 48%-45%.
Pulido is the most popular figure in the district: Pulido has a 73% name ID and a net favorability of +8
Pulido outperforms a generic Democrat: Pulido overperforms the R+3 generic ballot by 5 points
De la Cruz is Vulnerable: Only 36% of voters say De La Cruz should be re-elected, including just 8% of self-identified independents
De La Cruz's record is a liability:
58% of voters have serious concerns that De La Cruz voted for a bill that could force steep cuts to Medicare and put Social Security at risk.
58% say it's a serious concern that she voted four times for tariffs raising grocery and gas prices while staying silent as Argentine beef imports hurt South Texas cattle ranchers.
Methodology: The survey of 802 likely voters in TX-15 was conducted May 18–25, 2026. Surveys were delivered over landlines, cell phones, and SMS-to-online. The margin of error is ±4.10%.
